Oh Trdelnik, I do love you so. That delicious, sugary coating; the doughy inside; the crunch as you break through the outer layer. This stuff is gold. Truly. Take me back now. Watching the stall owners make the scrumptious food was so interesting, they roast it on a spit, similar to how we cook pork back home in Australia! We ate it while listening to a local group of musicians play traditional tunes. Afterwards we wandered around, soaking up the nightlife that Prague has to offer. We stumbled upon a beautiful glass blowing store where coloured chandeliers hung from the ceiling, glittering in the evening light. I bought some glass ornaments for my tree back home. Puppets hung from most windows. They are so incredibly detailed and it almost seems like they could come alive. Who knows? Perhaps they do, but only after we go to bed.
