On our last night in Prague, Melissa and I splurged for tickets to a string quartet performance in one of the amazing music halls that the city has to offer. We had been seeing posters up all over town for different performances so decided it would be worth a visit. It was certainly beautiful and exciting to go and listen to some very talented musicians play their hearts out. It felt very European to be sitting in an extravagant hall listening to some famous classical music pieces.

Prague is pretty famous for it's fabulous garnets I learnt whilst there. I wasn't going to buy a ring, I love garnets, but Australian ones are my favourites. I've been digging for my own before, so buying them from a store just doesn't hold the same appeal. However when Mel showed me the gorgeous ring she had bought, I was on a mission. I ended up buying this ring for myself and a pair of stunning gold and garnet earrings as a present for my mother (Happy Mother's Day!). These are some of my favourite photographs of myself from the trip. There are so many photographs that I absolutely love. but these ones I wasn't posing, I was genuinely happy and so ecstatic about my purchase. Jewellery does that to me.
