I got a new toy today: a Wacom Bamboo Tablet. This thing is seriously fun. I've been drawing on photos all evening! I'm going to have fun playing with this, especially when I start posting travel posts from my time in Europe (139 days to go!). I've wanted one for a while, but never knew where I could get one (blast this living in a small town business). But then I found one today in the office shop! It was all very exciting. So I bought it, got back to the car and had a minor panic attack over spending money (I really really hate anything to do with money), got over that and brought it home. So far I've really only used it on Photoshop, but I'm going to have fun figuring out all the other ways I'll be able to use it.
It is so windy today! I was almost blown away whilst taking these photos. I actually had to hold the plant steady when taking the last photograph. Ridiculous. Anyways, these were taken at Lake Narracan, somewhere I am fairly certain I had never been before now. I went there after my induction for my new job to get some shots. I was pleasantly surprised by the softly curving pier that's there. It made the perfect backdrop. I just kind of love old piers.
