I mentioned in the last post about my obsession with detail whilst in Milan. This is some of the evidence of that. Milan was very good for detail photographs. These are just a few little tidbits from my last day in Milan. Next stop: Padova!

Milano was one city we visited where I didn't do a huge amount of research prior to getting there so stumbling upon a castle whilst there was a nice surprise. Sforza Castle is very different from other castles I saw in Europe. It felt much less extravagant, strangely enough. The place was practically crawling with stray cats, though I certainly didn't mind that one bit (crazy cat lady in the making right here). It was very different, but I liked it.
There was so much delicious food in Milano. The market stalls not only sold a wide range of interesting trinkets, but also different types of food as well. I tried the cranberries in chocolate and they were so wonderfully rich and decadent. I also ate a HUGE amount of gelato in Italy. That stuff is amazing. Also, pasta. Any type of pasta, any time of day, I am perfectly happy to consume it. In fact, just give me all the Italian food, I love it all.
