BONDI BEACH

The most famous beach in the world.

Let me preface this by saying that this beach went above and beyond my expectations. Previous experience has taught me that most of the "best" beaches in Australia are overhyped (looking at you Saint Kilda Beach) and that the best are actually hidden away and only the locals know about them. I'm sticking to that theory but with one exception: Bondi Beach. I mean, look at that water! It's stunning! It was the perfect day for the beach too. Hot enough to go swimming but not hot enough for me to want to hibernate indoors.

We wandered the beach for a while before heading a little way along the walk just to the right of the main beach. There are SPECTACULAR views along this walk. Well worth the effort. 

So is Bondi Beach, if you pick your days right and the crowds aren't too bad that is. The water was surprisingly nice to swim in too. Cool and clear, despite there being a bunch of people in with me. Plus, the lifeguards aren't too bad to look at either.
