What I'm currently loving...

With the holidays now long over, I am getting back in to the swing of things with work, appointments and hobbies. Currently I am working through a large backlog of photographs from the past couple of weeks, editing them and getting blog posts ready to go. Mostly I am avoiding getting organised for the week ahead. I am still in denial that today is Sunday. Anyone else dread the upcoming work week? No? Just me?

CURRENTLY READING

The Knife of Never Letting Go ​by Patrick Ness. This was FANTASTIC. I did not think I would enjoy this book as much as I actually did. Put simply, Todd lives in a small town and from the get go things seem weird there. Everyone can hear everyone else's thoughts and there are no women, only men. Then Todd comes across a patch of silence which causes him to go on the run with his new found friend, a girl. From there things escalate and escalate until you are desperate to know what happens. That being said, the ending was very disappointing and I haven't yet got the sequel to read. 

CURRENTLY LISTENING TO

Lie Like Me by Ward Thomas. I am beyond excited for the new album by Ward Thomas. They are my FAVOURITE country band and this new music they've released is the perfect mix of country and pop. A must listen.

Homemade honeycomb ice cream for lunch. Those healthy habits from last time are difficult to maintain. Anyone have any tips?
