Have a fabulous holiday season!

Our Christmas tree came down today. Sad, but true. We still have New Years to celebrate though, and there is no way I am giving up the celebrating yet. Before the tree came down I took the obligatory bokeh photographs, because isn't that a necessary part of everyones Christmas celebrations? Okay, maybe not. It's a part of mine though! I got my first DSLR on Christmas, then my first non-kit lens a couple of years later. So naturally, playing with my camera, taking photos of the ornaments at f/1.4 is a Christmas past time for me.

We spent Christmas in Bendigo, though most of the day was spent in the car driving to Bendigo. It was lovely though, we ate all the fabulous holiday food (HAM, PUDDING, BRANDY CUSTARD), opened presents together and all the usual trimmings. My favourite part was Grandma giving my sister and I a packet of coloured pencils to share. Actually, it may be the part where she called our phones "personal televisions". Grandma is always a good laugh, but even she had a wonderful time on Christmas. 

Boxing day was spent lounging in bed, though I did indulge in a little online shopping. I will share more of that when it arrives though, because what else could it be other than camera gear?!
