My last day in Japan. My very last day in Japan was mostly spent at the fantastic Ghibli Museum exploring the amazing artwork by Hayao Miyazaki. Back in Shinjuku, I returned to the little temple right by my hotel to see the beautiful cherry blossoms. I can just imagine how amazing Japan must look covered by blossoms. I had seen these on my first day in Japan, and it felt very symbolic for them to be my last thing I visit in Japan (other than the airport, but let's not count that).
I loved spending time in a country so vastly different from my own. Widening my horizons in such a way is always worth the effort. Japan is such an amazing place, so full of culture and life. If you haven't seen the rest of my Japan posts, or you just want to see the highlights, be sure to check them out here.
