Goodbye Italy, and Europe too. It felt so strange to be returning home. Long flight, this time thankfully without any vomiting on my part, and then suddenly... home. Our last night in Rome, Mel and I went out for a celebratory dinner. At the airport we both had all our fingers and toes crossed that our bags would come in under the weight limit. They went through together thankfully, and came in 300grams below the weight restriction. There may have been cheering.
How strange to be finally finished with posts from Europe. It was a big trip, the trip of a lifetime and I am so grateful. Keep your eyes peeled for my (short) guides to cities in Europe which I'll post soon. Now though, I'm really excited to begin posting recent photographs again. For as much as I love my photos from Europe, I was getting tired of these posts. I hope you enjoyed them, I wanted to share a trip that meant a great deal to me and now I have. It's time for something new.
