Brussels was our third stop on the trip. We only had two nights there, so a much shorter stop this time around! I had no idea how we were going to find out what was best to do in such a short time, not having done as much research about the city as I had for other ones. Luckily, our hotel came to the rescue. They had partnered with a tour company that offered free walking tours around the city. Um, perfect! The company turned out to be one of our favourites of the trip and we ended up doing walking tours in a few other places as well. We met up with the tour in Grande Place, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. The buildings are absolutely gorgeous, so detailed and ornate. There was also a very large Christmas tree, making the whole place even more magical.
