Melissa hadn't been to see Charles Bridge on her first day in Prague, so I took her for a visit early on the morning of our second day in the city. I love this bridge in the early morning sunlight. There is hardly anyone around, apart from a couple of locals, making it the perfect time to do some cartwheels without accidentally knocking someone out. Mel and I spun, cartwheeled and danced our way across the bridge, causing some unhappy seagulls to stir from their early morning slumber. They were a lot happier when some locals came to feed them. It was a bit like that scene in Finding Nemo, where the seagulls are all shouting "mine!" but in Czech.
