There's only one country in the world that you can see in a day: Vatican City. Unfortunately, Mel and I didn't get to see too much of it. There was some sort of gathering going on, probably remnants from the Papal address earlier. The lines therefore, were atrociously long and not really worth spending our last day standing in. It's okay though, I've seen the Sistine Chapel before, and as much as I loved it and the fabulous museum attached, I didn't want to waste a whole day there. So Mel and I fluffed around for a bit, taking photographs and escaping the rain underneath the columns.
