See that? That is edible gold paint. On an eclair. In Paris. My gosh, this was one incredibly delicious moment. That gold eclair (mine, by the way) was a chocolate and peanut explosion of scrumptious Parisian pastry made at the L'éclair de Génie patisserie in Le Marais. And boy, was it worth the price. Mel and I ate them on a bench seat while watching Paris wizz by. The sun was just setting and afterwards, while walking back to the hotel, we somehow ended up at Place de la Bastille. A.K.A. in the complete opposite direction to our hotel. No matter, I got to eat these eclairs.
