This little Parisian market was one of those places you just happen to stumble across on your way to find, say, a toilet. It sold fruit and vegetables, flowers and socks. Also, Christmas trees. I loved the way the trees were piled up all over the place, most of them tiny ones I could easily imagine gracing a Parisian apartment, strung with lights and tinsel. It is discoveries like this that allow us foreigners to get a glimpse of the true Paris, the one that people live in every day.
