One of my favourite places on the Mornington Peninsula. Mount Martha will always hold a special place in my heart. It is the place of friends, photos and fun for me. Some of my favourite memories happened here. When I visited Allyce last holidays we went for a walk out around the vineyard. It is stunning out there, I even ran through the vines! So here is a quote from A Good Year about French wine which I have no doubt is highly better than whatever is made here because it is late and I am currently watching Hugo and reminiscing about France. "In France it's always the landowner who makes the wine, even though he does nothing more than supervise with binoculars from the comfort of his study. No, I enjoy making wine, because this sublime nectar is quite simply incapable of lying. Picked too early, picked too late, it matters not - the wine will always whisper into your mouth with complete, unabashed honesty every time you take a sip."
