Giulia and her mother took me to their hometown, just outside of Padova to see the annual life size Nativity set up. There were donkeys, working fountains, baby Jesus, lots and lots of hay, bread baked in outside ovens and all sorts of treats. It was so much fun to wander through the various Nativity scenes, laughing at the different representations and marvelling at the length that was gone to to set up the scenes. Apparently this is something that happens every year and I vote to have it installed here at home.
