Prague's famous Astronomical Clock resides in the beautiful Old Town Square, along with the stunning Tyn Church. Both look over the bustling square, which was filled to the brim with market stalls, musicians and people. The square is absolutely gorgeous, the buildings that surround it are beautifully ornate. Gothic architecture is prominent, especially on the building housing the clock. Gruesome skeletons laugh and dance when the bell chimes on the hour. It is listed on many sites as a top thing to see whilst in Prague, and while the clock itself is wonderful, it is not at the top of my list. Neither is Tyn Church. It is lovely to look at, towering as it does above the town, but I never actually went inside. There were much more fascinating things to do in the square. The Christmas markets for one!
