owls in kobe

All my meeting Hegwig dreams are coming true. 

Another Japanese town, another owl café. This one really took the cake as my favourite though, especially when compared to the (only slightly disappointing) one in Tokyo. This was mostly because I got to hold one of the owls. I believe in looking after animals, and my worries over animal cruelty were somewhat sated upon seeing the conditions of the owls and how much the workers cared for them. They could retreat whenever they wanted and were obviously loved by the staff. I was very excited to get hold one, understandably so. My favourite was the little one winking at me.
