Despite my hotel being situated round the corner from Notre Dame, it took me a couple of days in Paris before I actually ventured on to the Île de la Cité and over to the cathedral. It is such a beautiful building, so exquisitely ornate. After visiting Sacre Coeur that morning, it was hard not to compare the two. Personally, I prefer Notre Dame. The detail in the sculptures, the gargoyles, the view from the top. It was all so beautiful. I honestly would travel back to Paris in a heartbeat, if only I had unlimited funds. One of the first things I would do is go back and sit in front of this cathedral again. I smile every time I look at these photographs. Speaking of smiling, I have been smiling all week due to a new little change of address. If you haven't already heard elsewhere, my blog and website are now at www.louisebarbara.co! It is the first time I have ever had my own domain name and I am a tad excited. If you follow me on Bloglovin' or another blog following website, you may need to add the new address in. Or, click on one of the following options to the right as a handy shortcut! You can also follow me on Twitter, as a link to a new post is always published there.
